Programme Officer (BA)

Role: Programme Officer (BA)
Location: Sheffield
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Reports to: Senior Programme Officer (BA/MA)
Remuneration: £24 - £27k p.a.

WaterBear Education Ltd. is seeking to appoint a Programme Officer (BA), based at the Sheffield campus. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, creative thinker with the confidence and desire to deliver an excellent experience for our Sheffield BA (Hons) students.

Job Overview:

· To provide academic support, mentoring and guidance.
· To ensure high levels of student satisfaction and achievement are maintained.
· To function as a first point of contact for students on the BA programmes.
· To organise and manage various student activities.
· To undertake various administrative tasks associated with the academic programme delivery.
· To support the Senior Programme Officer and Programme Manager in the delivery of all course academic KPIs.

Receptionist (Sheffield)

Role: Receptionist
Location: Sheffield
Hours of work: 35 hours per week (TBC)
Reports to: Head Receptionist
Remuneration: £19– £22k p.a.

Job Overview:

· To function as a first point of contact for all students, tutors and visitors to WaterBear.
· To maintain a friendly and welcoming reception environment at WaterBear HQ.
· To assist the WaterBear education team with various tasks as required.
· To triage student enquiries, support and signpost to appropriate staff.

Student Support Officer (Sheffield)

Role: Student Support Officer
Location: Sheffield
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Reports to: College Manager Sheffield
Remuneration: Up to £27,000 p.a.

WaterBear Education Ltd. is seeking to appoint a Student Support Officer, based at the Sheffield campus.

Job Overview:

· To provide pastoral and learning support for all students at the college.
· To coordinate and lead on wellbeing and learning support services for the Sheffield college.
· To be first point of contact for any student who may be in a crisis situation and to triage, manage and where necessary make referrals to ensure a successful outcome.
· To provide academic and learning support on a 1-1 or group basis to Sheffield students.
· To develop and promote active strategies for improved mental health and resilience.
