WaterBear U18s Open Mic Night

ionicons-v5-cPlay Video
The WaterBear U18s Open Mic Night is for anyone under the age of 18 looking for a chance to play live. It’s hosted each month at the famous WaterBear Venue on Brighton’s beach front and is open to bands, musicians and artists of any genre looking to showcase their talent.

The U18s Open Mic Night is free to enter. There will be no alcohol available, but soft drinks are provided free of charge. All you need to do is turn up, put your name or the name of your band on the list at reception next to an available timeslot, and wait for your turn to play. Get there early if you want to play at a certain time, as slots are given on a first come, first served basis.

Performance slots are 10 minutes long. A full, professional standard backline including drum kit is provided. We recommend bringing your own instrument and breakables (sticks / picks etc.). Effects pedals and backing tracks can also be accommodated, but please don’t make things too complicated as spending too much time setting up will waste precious time.

Guests are also welcome and anyone under the age of 14 should be accompanied by an adult.

Keep an eye on our socials for our next U18s Open Mic Night. We look forward to seeing you there!
