All applicants interested in studying a course at WaterBear will be invited to take part in a 1-1 session either in person or by video conference, which is an essential part of the application process. This is where you get the chance to show us your passion for music and why you’re interested in coming to WaterBear. It’s also a great opportunity for you to find out all about WaterBear and ask us any questions, so that you are fully informed to make the right choice about where to study.
Our Open Days are relaxed and informal and provide you with the opportunity to find out everything you need to know about WaterBear. We are very proud to partner with some of the biggest names in music to offer various Scholarship awards and free course places. We also offer a range of bursaries to help students fund their studies and activities at WaterBear.

Diversify Learn Create is an Arts Council England funded project to help launch young people (16-25) into a career in the music industry. Our partners over at @smallpond in Brighton have created this project which allows bands and artists the chance to access free rehearsal space, mentorship, workshops, demo recording sessions and networking and support. This opportunity is great for students wanting to keep up with their chops and skills during the summer period before September.
