As a professional musician, Mike has performed live or on record with a wide array of artists including David Bowie, Elton John, A-ha, Asia, Jack Bruce, Paul Carrack, Beverley Knight, Lulu, Wishbone Ash, Steve Winwood, Joss Stone, Tom Jones, Bono, 21 Guns, PsychoMotel, Lou Reed, Bob James, Randy Brecker, Hamish Stuart, Dr. John, Natalie Imbruglia, Imelda May and many more. Mike is currently the drummer with jazz-funk group Redtenbacher’s Funkestra (20 albums, 4 million Spotify streams, 3.5 million YouTube views). As an educator, he has been part of the teaching and management teams across a variety of higher education institutions in the UK.
