Lloyd Bent is the co-founder of Bingo Records, an acclaimed independent record label based in Sheffield. Lloyd set up the label using just a few hundred pounds of savings in 2017, and it has since developed a well-regarded stable of artists that sell records all over the world and tour internationally. Over the years at Bingo, Lloyd has handled general management, A&R, finances, vinyl pressing, distribution and legal work. He has also been successful in press and radio promotion, securing national and international coverage, spots on influential streaming playlists, and playlisting and live sessions on stations such as BBC 6 Music, Radio Cymru and Radio X. Outside of Bingo Records, Lloyd has worked as a fully accredited investigative journalist for regional and national newspapers, written and edited books, run a small music festival and sits on the co-operative that helps run a music venue in Sheffield.
