Jag Jago

Visiting Faculty

Jag started his musical career as guitarist and songwriter for seminal Brighton punk band, The Ghost of a Thousand. Jag began working with The Maccabees after The Ghost of a Thousand split up. He helped finish off their third studio album, ‘Given to the Wild,’ which debuted at number 4 in the UK and was nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2012. Since then, Jag has worked across a range of genres, honing his craft and sharing his knowledge of music production with a variety of artists such as The Magic Gang, Ten Tonnes, Matt Maltese, Jessie Ware and – most recently – Jamie T on his number 1 album, ‘The Theory of Whatever’.
