Multi-genre DJ, broadcaster, founder of Pink Islands Collective and co-founder of Bamboo Nights - Mimi’s sound knows no boundaries, nor does her vision for the future of the UK music scene. Mimi has played festivals such as Glastonbury, Mighty Hoopla, UK Black Pride, Land Beyond (and more), hosted her own show on the BBC Asian Network and supported esteemed artists such as David Rodigan, HorsegiirL, Route 94, Girls Don’t Sync, Jyoty and many more. Mimi aims to find each student’s niche, help them reach their full technical potential and market themselves in a way that will reach fans and solidify their place within the industry. Mimi can also offer advice and guidance on how to deal with mental health issues, especially for those from minority backgrounds, as well as how to navigate the scene ethically and with authenticity.
