Chris Herstad Carney is a DJ, radio presenter, event & festival manager, educator and general creative brain from Liverpool, UK. In his DJ career as a solo performer and with renowned collective Mixnots, Chris has played Glastonbury, Creamfields, Isle of Wight, Sound City, Kendal Calling, Standon Calling & Lake of Stars Malawi - a few highlights out of hundreds of gigs over a 16-year span. In event management, Chris co-founded Threshold Festival of Music & Arts which ran for 11 years in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle district. He has worked on several high-profile events including Liverpool International Music Festival, Sound City, Rock n Roll Marathon, Liverpool Biennial, Spectra Aberdeen & John Grant's North Atlantic Flux which took 3 Drum's UK Event Awards in 2018.
