The Music Venue Trust

Music Venue Trust, a UK charity founded in January 2014, aims to protect and improve Grassroots Music Venues, ensuring their long-term future. Iconic venues like Hull Adelphi, Exeter Cavern, and The 100 Club are vital for developing British music, offering local talent a stage to grow their careers and skills.

The Trust works to highlight the importance of these venues for artist development, the music industry, and local communities. Their efforts focus on preserving and enhancing venues, improving efficiency, and enhancing experiences for both performers and audiences. Additionally, they plan to acquire the freeholds of as many of these essential venues as possible.
