Jason has worked in the music industry, community arts and academic world for over 35 years as a creative, musician, music producer, engineer, manager, and director. He co-founded C.I.C. Global Arts Initiative Network (G.A.I.N) taking young urban artists to New York, and Europe, and artists from New York to the UK to helping them perform and establish themselves in new markets, and territories.

Throughout his career he has worked with many artists such as China Crisis, The Christians, Heron, Shack, The Farm, and The La’s to name a few. He produces his own material fusing electronic, and urban music styles influenced by his mixed-race heritage under the artist and producer name, Urban Nomadic and DJs under the name of Papa J. He is currently working on a live and studio based electronic/acoustic project named Se7en and continues to license his production music and beats to artists all over the world, including Female Hip Hop Legend Lil’ Kim.
