Online Freshers Week Live-Stream Events

All students have access to a fantastic line up of online live stream Freshers Week events from both Brighton and Sheffield and we can’t wait to welcome you. It is always lots of fun and there’ll be something for everyone. If you’re starting WaterBear for the first time, don’t put yourself under too much pressure early on - there’ll be plenty of time to get to know people with the full support of the WaterBear community behind you. Join us for an exclusive online event via zoom with Atlanta Cobb who has worked with some of the world's biggest artists such as Drake, Post Malone, Nicki Minaj, Jessie Ware, and The Script, Tom Odell, Leonard Cohen, Becky Hill, and Ella Henderson. If you'd like to attend please sign up by emailing [email protected]. All our online events go live on 1st August 2023 at 9am.

Please email with your name, the course you are studying, year group, and the event that you’d like to attend, please indicate that it is for a live-stream event. You will receive a confirmation from the events team around 1 week beforehand. Current students can sign up via BeeBop and this will also go live on 1st August 2023.

If you are an online student, you can also apply to play in one of the support slots available in Sheffield or Brighton during Freshers Week. Please find further details via the links below. Deadline to apply is 11th August 2023.
