#BeMoreNulty
The Sarah Nulty Power of Music Foundation was set up in 2019 in the memory of Sarah Nulty. Sarah became a cornerstone of the Sheffield music scene and built an amazing legacy through her love of music, and her extraordinary ability to bring people together and make them happy. It was a gift she shared generously throughout her life which lives on through her work and that of the foundation.
Arriving in Sheffield in 1999 as a student, Sarah quickly made the city her home. Immersing herself in Sheffield’s vibrant music scene, she worked her way up from bar staff in iconic nightclubs to managing venues and events before becoming one of the driving forces behind Tramlines in 2009, being appointed Festival Director in 2013. Under her leadership, Tramlines grew into a nationally celebrated event, showcasing new talent and drawing thousands of people to Sheffield, firmly placing the city on the cultural map.
Sarah Nulty's passion for music and community continues to inspire through The Power of Music Foundation and the ethos of #BeMoreNulty—spreading joy, fostering connections, and making life a little brighter for everyone. The Sarah Nulty Foundation honour Sarah by celebrating outstanding contributions in creativity, community, and advocacy.
