DJ AG is a major grassroots force in the UK music scene, transforming how new artists are discovered and supported. From his early days as an MC and DJ on North London’s pirate radio to livestreamed street performances, he has created a platform that removes industry barriers and puts raw talent in front of global audiences. His sets have featured emerging artists alongside major names such as Skepta, JME, Ed Sheeran, Will Smith, and Jessie J. Known for giving first-time artists the mic and fostering authentic, viral performances, DJ AG’s work has earned a UK Entertainment Award and Time Out’s Londoner of the Year, cementing his role as a cultural connector shaping the future of music.

DJ AJ explains: “I’ve seen first-hand what happens when the right artist hits the right moment, everything can shift. That’s the energy behind the livestreams. It’s about creating that opportunity in real time. And that’s exactly why this scholarship matters. We’re opening the door for someone who’s ready now, giving them the tools, the guidance and the real opportunities to take it to the next level.”
