Tim Ferrone has worked in the music industry for over 23 years and is the founder and owner of Wrapped Up Music, a management service for labels, managers and artists. Alongside marketing roles at EMI, Universal International and Ministry of Sound he spent seven years as an independent artist manager. He has worked on campaigns with artists such as The Amazons, Above & Beyond, Conception and Tom Williams and has lectured on Berklee Valencia’s and Tileyard Education’s Masters Degrees. He also wrote the ‘Start-Up Guide to Music Business’ for the Association of Independent Music, the UK trade body for the indie music sector.
Toby is the Founder of Content Club and the Director/Curator for TEDxBrighton, one of the UK’s largest and longest running TEDx events. He’s also an author, speaker and facilitator, with a focus on helping people to experience more clarity, confidence and creativity in their work. Toby concentrates his efforts on WaterBear’s postgraduate students, helping them to think creatively in order to achieve their career goals.
Tony is a versatile professional guitarist who studied at the Guitar Institute of Technology in London, focusing on Contemporary Electric Guitar. He further developed his skills under bassist Joe Hubbard in a fusion ensemble course. With a diverse career, Tony is equally at home in musical theatre pits and is the southern-based guitarist for the renowned Magic of Motown show. He plays with many local jazz musicians, but also enjoys shredding metal.
Tony specialises in solo jazz guitar (Joe Pass/Martin Taylor style), currently teaching online or from his studio in Brighton. He often plays for various acts, at places like Warners Leisure Hotels, Butlins, P&O cruise ships, UK & European theatres and wedding/function bands. His latest bands and projects include Jaki Graham, Angie Brown, All Things Must Pass (George Harrison’s music), Hollywood actor Anne Cusack’s UK blues band and remote recording sessions for a German artist. Tony also has a keen interest in country guitar styles and techniques.
Will is a professional drummer and teacher with over 25 years of experience. He plays drums with the bands Trigger Thumb and The Marble Arches. Notable gigs with Trigger Thumb include the main stage at Arctangent Festival and the Tramlines Fringe Festival event at the City Hall Ballroom in Sheffield. They have also supported Rabea Massaad’s bands Dorje and Toska. As a session musician, Will has also played gigs supporting James Blunt and Texas.
