MA Music Businesss (on-site & online)
The MA Music Business can be studied on-site over one year, or two years part-time, online. Designed for graduates and music industry professionals, this master’s enables you to work on your own projects and drive your career forward. You’ll hone your expertise, sharpen your entrepreneurial edge, and become an expert in your field while shaping the future of the industry. This course is also offered with work placement opportunities.
MA Music Education (on-site & online)
This MA is for musicians and educators ready to rethink music education. It’s about fresh perspectives, discovering your teaching identity, and designing relevant, inclusive, future-facing learning. You’ll learn not just to teach, but to lead, inspire, and shape a career on your terms. Whether entering FE or HE, running workshops, or building new income streams, we’ll help you connect creativity, credibility, and real-world impact. This course can be studied on-site or online over one year.
MA Songwriting (on-site & online)
The MA Songwriting degree is designed for songwriters, artists, and producers who are serious about writing career-defining songs. You’ll attend in-house camps, a residential songwriting retreat, and master core songwriting and composition methodologies. You’ll work with producers, generate income streams, and develop your critical thinking and research skills at a postgraduate level. This course can be studied on-site or online over one year.
MA Music Performance, Production & Business
This practical master’s is for artists ready to take control of their creative and commercial direction. It focuses on creating high-quality music, with an emphasis on learning by doing. You’ll create, record, and release your own music, working in studios with professional music producers and mix engineers, alongside developing your your critical thinking and research skills at a postgraduate level. This course can be studied on-site in Brighton and Sheffield over one year.
