As BBC Wales aptly describes them, they are "A crazed mash-up of reggae, ragga, metal and punk, Skindred are one of the world's most inventive rock bands". Founded by lead vocalist Benji Webbe after his previous band Dub War, the group pioneered a unique sound they call "ragga metal".Comprising Benji Webbe, Mikey Demus, Dan Pugsley, and Arya Goggin, Skindred blends metal, punk, reggae, and electronic music into an explosive musical cocktail.
Their high-energy live performances have earned them a reputation as one of the most dynamic bands in rock. With over half a million records sold and accolades like the "Best Live Band" at the 2011 UK Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards, Skindred continues to push musical boundaries and captivate audiences worldwide.
