"Winning the Scholarship means the absolute world to me, it was very humbling to know a university and a band of that status think that I am a worthy winner. It gave me the boost to carry on writing my music. My reasons why people who are coming to WaterBear should apply: You have nothing to lose, take it as an opportunity to get your music listened to. Let the artist know what you are passionate about. These scholarships don’t come around often, seize it and work hard on your application. Enjoy putting your application together, it might give you the opportunity to do something you have never done before like filming a performance, tracking in a studio, or choosing the songs for your application. Work hard and have fun!"
