Masters open evening & workshop: how to fund your music

Join us at our campus in Brighthelm Gardens, Brighton on Tues Feb 12th  at 18:30, for our Masters Open Evening. The presentation will include a talk from Brighton based songwriter & musician Steph Brown on: How to Apply For Arts Council England Funding. 

At the Open Evening you can also learn more about WaterBear's flexible Masters programme for musicians and creatives. The programme is ideal for graduates or those without a degree but with experience, keen to gain a qualification alongside the development of their industry skills and activity. Students can study part-time, funding is available and the programme is accredited by the University of Chichester.

Steph Brown will present on how independent artists can make their projects happen. Twice awarded by Arts Council England for her musical project (Della Lupa) and for her solo debut album, which is due  to be released in 2019 and has been produced by Jag Jago (The Maccabees, Florence Welch). Steph is a Brighton based singer songwriter, vocal coach and Musical Director for The Good Vibe Choir. An experienced live performer, Steph has toured throughout Europe as well as playing sold out shows in some of the UK and Ireland's best venues (Ronnie Scotts, Scala, Whelans and Brighton Dome).

The WaterBear Directors, Bruce Dickinson & Adam Bushell,  will deliver an overview of the WaterBear Masters programme and how musicians, artists and creatives can use past and present industry activity as a foundation for their programme of study.
