How to Fund Your Music Projects with Ruth Daniel

Posted on 14th July 2021

WaterBear – The College of Music are pleased to announce that on Friday 30th July we shall be running a free workshop for musicians and music industry professionals at our newly refurbished live music venue, on Brighton beach.

This exclusive event titled ‘How to Fund Your Music Projects’ will provide musicians with ideas and inspiration to kick start their music projects. Special guest speaker for the evening will be Ruth Daniel, a creative entrepreneur who has personally secured over £1,000,000 of funding for various UK music and charity projects. You’ll also get to hear all about WaterBear’s master’s courses, where Ruth is one of the amazing team of lecturers.

Ruth helps people write winning bids to funding organisations such as ‘the Arts Council’, ‘PRS for Music’ and ‘The PPL Momentum Fund’. These workshops are a hallmark of WaterBear’s MA Music Entrepreneur course, and Ruth’s excellent work on the MA programme has helped current WaterBear students achieve funding for various music projects. This workshop is an ideal opportunity to explore how to finance your own music projects, and a great way to find out all about the MA Music Entrepreneur course at WaterBear, designed to support you in building your music business.

The event will run from 18:30-20:00pm and you can expect to hear from, and interact with, guest speakers, and fellow musicians.

Come and enjoy a drink on us, make some useful contacts and explore how you could energise your music projects.

Please RSVP by completing this form or email us on to reserve your place as availability is limited.

We look forward to welcoming you.
